Azienda Agricola Diego Conterno is a certified-organic estate in Monforte d'Alba in the southern Barolo zone of Piedmont, run by Diego Conterno and son Stefano. The 'Ferrione' Barbera d'Alba is 100% Barbera from the estate's Ferrione vineyard just outside the Barolo zone, hand-harvested, wild-fermented and aged in large oak cask. It is a fresh, classically styled everyday Barbera.
