A textural old-vine Watervale Riesling from cult Clare Valley producer Koerner, made from fruit off the family's Gullyview vineyard. Picked early and made hands-off - natural ferment in stainless steel and ceramic amphora, aged on fine lees, unfined and unfiltered - it is aromatic, spicy and lightly textured rather than austere. Fresh, dry and highly drinkable, with classic Watervale lime and a savoury edge.
