Essential Crisis is a natural pétillant naturel sparkling Sauvignon Blanc from Owen Latta's LATTA Vino label in regional Victoria. Bottled mid-ferment with no additions and rested on lees, it is a zippy, lo-fi fizz with a cool tropical swagger. Owen, named Gourmet Traveller Wine's Young Winemaker of the Year in 2018, makes it from fruit grown through long-term relationships in the Ballarat/Pyrenees area.
