A rich, full-bodied Primitivo from Italy’s sun-baked Salento peninsula in Puglia, made by Masso Antico from bush-trained (Alberello) vines. The grapes are left to partially wither (appassimento) before slow maturation in French oak, giving a generous, soft and warming style. Deep, smooth and spice-laced — a crowd-pleasing southern Italian red.
