From former-chef Adam Foster's Syrahmi label in Heathcote, Victoria, 'Introspect' is a site-driven, whole-bunch expression of single-vineyard Shiraz. Wild-fermented in concrete and matured around 20 months in a large used French oak foudre, it is bottled unfined and unfiltered and held back two years before release. Scored 95 points by Campbell Mattinson in Halliday's Australian Wine Companion.
